The Heritage Center is unveiling a new exhibit celebrating the horse and its history in North Dakota.

Whether pulling a plow or a fire wagon, the horse has done a lot for North Dakotans. This exhibit is the first of its size that Heritage Center have put together by themselves. Filling the fifty thousand square foot governor's gallery with interactive exhibits.

"Horses have impacted North Dakota's history in such a big way. Horses have influenced the way we travel, the way we work, and the way we play," said Kim Jondahl, Communications and Education Director.

A live horse was brought in to take part in the grand opening festivities.
