What each Rider should do to REGISTER:

1.  Complete the Application for the AMA/FIMNA Road Racing License and Number Assignment for each rider. (This requires a current AMA membership).  Find the application and eligibility forms here: https://americanmotorcyclist.com/racing/professional-licensing/  (AMA membership is also available on this site- top right corner.  Please complete an application and select the Hooligans class)

2. Complete the MotoAmerica Pre-Registration Form – this form lets me know that you are applying for your license so I can watch for your license to be issued and contact you).  This online form is available here:  http://www.motoamericaregistration.com/entrant-information-form/

3. After steps 1 & 2 are complete and your license has been issued, you will be guided through the remaining steps, including the MotoAmerica Rider Application.  Please allow at least 48 hours to complete step 3 prior to an event entry deadline.

 

Completion of these steps will allow you to enter race events this season.  Please preview registration information at http://www.motoamericaregistration.com/rider-and-crew-entry/  and check out the Entry Options document for the Super Hooligan class.

ELIGIBILITY

CURRENT SHNC RACERS (IF YOU HAVE RACED A SUPER HOOLIGAN RACE IN THE PAST 2 YEARS)

If you are an existing SHNC racer we will require a road race license from your local roadrace track with a minimum of 3 road races or approved race training from a certified race trainer.  Please complete the AMA license eligibility form with the information that you are a current SHNC racer and submit it with the license application.

 

NEW RACERS TO SUPER HOOLIGAN

The SHNC retains the right to approve riders based upon their level of experience and ability. If you have not raced Super Hooligan before you must be pre-approved by the SHNC to participate. Please complete the AMA license eligibility form and have it signed: complete the form with race history, prior race licensing and experience. SHNC will require a road race license from your local roadrace track with a minimum of 3 races or approved race training from a certified race trainer.  AMA membership is a must.

 

Getting your road race license is as easy as contacting your local road race series, getting a bike prepped and getting to the track.

BIKES

  • Open to all manufacturers of motorcycles. Water cooled or air-cooled 750cc+ twin cylinder, max 900cc triples, and Electric bikes all racing head-to-head in the same class on the same grid. 
     

  • Plastic Maier number plates and official Superhooligan printed backgrounds with your number and series sponsor logos will be available for pick up at MotoAmerica Technical Control, at the race track that you first register to race at. No fairings or windscreens allowed. Flat number plates. If you want to figure out a mounting solution ahead of time, for reference, these are the plates that will be supplied: 


Maier 7 x 10 Side (1 per side) Maier USA 50991: 7" X 10" Number Plate
 

Maier 10 x 12 Front Maier USA 50989: 10" X 12" Rectangle Number Plate 

  • Production high-bar street bikes only. Motorcycle must have come stock with top mounted risers and upright handlebars. No clip-on bikes permitted.

  • Water cooled or air cooled, originally equipped 750cc+, twin-cylinder, four stroke, production street legal motorcycles. Maximum claimed stock production horsepower of 125HP or less. 

  • (H-D Pan America now eligible with use of mandatory components for balancing - see technical bulletin.) 

  • Electric street legal production motorcycles with single motor. Water-cooled batteries permitted. No MX or dual-sport type electric bikes allowed. 

  • The air-cooled division is now open to all manufacturers. Modifications allowed to the main frame or full custom chassis, naturally aspirated or forced induction, and minimum weight of 350 lbs.

  • Water-cooled and electric bikes must maintain stock frames with no fabrication allowed. Minimum weight 377 lbs.

CONTINGENCY AWARDS

ELIGIBILITY

  • The provided Official Super Hooligan number plates with your number must be mounted to front and sides of motorcycle and attached in a way that it is secured to the motorcycle for the duration of the race.

  • Riders must display official Super Hooligan number plate with series sponsor branding to be eligible for any prizes.  If any logos on number plates are covered, modified or otherwise made illegible, no contingencies will be paid to that rider.  Championship points and trophies will be awarded, but contingencies and championship bonuses will not be paid.  If a rider forfeits his contingencies, payouts will move to the next eligible rider.

  • Rider must sign RSD Super Hooligan National Championship rules and liability waiver in order to collect contingencies.

  • SHNC must receive a completed W-9 form from rider in order for contingency payments to be paid.
