Suicide Prevention Services of America is one of the few agencies in the country offering all we do: 24-hour phone lifeline, counseling, depression screening, workshops, prevention training, school intervention, support groups, and annual awareness events.
We are a part of the National Suicide Crisis Lifeline: Dial 988 for immediate help.
The counselors and staff at Suicide Prevention Services of America play a crucial role in our mission to reduce the incidence of suicide and its devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities. These dedicated professionals are the backbone of SPSA. They undergo specialized training to handle sensitive situations with care and confidentiality, ensuring that those in distress receive the help they need at critical moments. Moreover, their continuous efforts in outreach and education help raise awareness about mental health issues and the importance of suicide prevention, fostering a more informed and supportive community.
Suicide Prevention Training
Suicide Prevention Services of America delivers customized workshops and training for schools, workplaces, and organizations.
988 Lifeline
Suicide Prevention Services of America is one of the call centers for the 988 LifeLine. We help people in mental health-related distress or experiencing a suicidal crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Survivors of Suicide Support Group
The Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Support Group meets once a month. It is open to anyone who has lost a family member or friend to suicide.
Counseling
Through Stone Manor Counseling – now with two locations in Batavia and Aurora – we offer confidential, personalized counseling and therapy services for people of all ages, including children, families, and adults.
Upcoming Events
We host numerous fundraisers and events throughout the year, including a 5K in the spring and our Walk for Life in the fall. We’d love to see you at one of our upcoming events!
