Highlights of Our Work

San Diego County Food Vision 2030

Developed over two years, San Diego County Food Vision 2030 is our region’s shared vision, plan, and movement for transforming our food system over the next decade.

The Annual Gathering

The Annual Gathering for Food Vision 2030 takes place every fall, and features inspirational speakers, interactive sessions, open space for networking, powerful storytelling, and local food.

The Local Food Economy Lab

The Local Food Economy Lab is a new program that centers equity and community ownership, and works to support the viability of small-scale farmers, ranchers, fishermen, food business owners, and the communities they serve in San Diego County.

Save the Food, San Diego!

Save the Food, San Diego! calls for ending food waste. Small changes in our attitudes and habits can shift our culture toward valuing food more deeply. Being in right relationship with land and people will lead us to a more sustainable, waste-free food system.

Our Culture & Community

We recognize that our only path to healing ourselves and our food system is through a deep commitment to social, environmental, and economic justice for all. We center racial justice, lived experiences, cultural heritage, relationship building, and community leadership.

Join us!

Alliance membership is free and open to everyone. We need you in the movement to cultivate a healthy, sustainable, and just food system in San Diego County.
