Event Management Course

Be an event manager

The Onkaparinga Youth ‘Event Management’ course teaches young people how to plan and deliver large scale events by focusing on each of the specialised areas that make up event management.

By participating in this program, you will get hands on experience designing, delivering and evaluating youth events within the City of Onkaparinga as well as placement opportunities at other exciting events within Adelaide.

Onkaparinga Youth have spaces open for our current entry level Event Management course. The content is produced and distributed by the internationally recognised ‘Australian Online Courses’ and will be delivered classroom style at Base 10 with support from our Community Development Officer. Upon completion and submission of all required content, you will be presented with a Certificate of Event Management and receive a Certificate of Attainment (that is internationally recognised and aligned with the Australian standards of quality).

City of Onkaparinga are committed to subsidise the majority of the costs involved, so the student contribution is only $100 for the entire Event Management program.
