THE INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION OF LEARNING
The International Foundation of Learning (IFL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The original purpose of the IFL was to bring together outstanding scientists in education, psychology and neuroscience with leaders in education so that the practice of education could benefit from the latest research and thinking in its key underlying disciplines and scientific fields.
The IFL has formed a number of partnerships over the past 30+ years to achieve extraordinary outcomes and create exceptional projects of good-work.
From its founding in 1983 to the early years of the 21st century, the IFL sponsored many events and conferences that led to important new developments in schools and in the community.

CREATION OF A LEGACY FUND
In 2010, the International Foundation of Learning entered into a partnership with the Vancouver Foundation to create a Legacy Fund that could be used to sponsor new initiatives to meet the challenges of the future.

A NEW INITIATIVE FOR THE 21ST CENTURY
In 2017, the International Foundation of Learning entered into a partnership with the Visioneers International Network to support the work of the Network to create a Virtual Exposition of a Web of Good Work that showcases outstanding projects and work by individuals to promote a peaceful and sustainable future.

The second purpose of the Visioneers International Network is to create a global platform that will enable members to connect with each other across the world and be mentored by those doing exceptional work in order to replicate and promote projects of good work for the world.
The role of the International Foundation of Learning is to sponsor initiatives that will aid in the development of the Visioneers Web of Good Work.

Statement
Our mission is to connect Visioneers with each other, building a global network of changemakers, showcasing the good-work projects and lifetime achievements of Visioneers around the world, and providing real-world mentorship and learning opportunities for Visioneers. We are building a Web of Good Work as a counter to the fog of negativity shrouding discourse on current global conditions and future prospects.
