Erie News Now Sunrise is excited for How Cool Is Your School.

This year’s theme is out of this world in celebration of the total solar eclipse.

Fifteen schools submitted video submissions to be judged. The top four winning schools are:

  • Northwestern Middle School
  • Cochranton Junior-Senior High School
  • Grandview Elementary School
  • Iroquois Elementary School

The schools each received $250 from Northshore Insurance Agency and hosted Erie News Now Sunrise for a live broadcast.

All four winning videos were also submitted into an online voting contest to win a $5,000 TV ad campaign for the non-profit charity of their choice and other prizes.

Each of the winning schools also received a Card My Yard winner sign display courtesy of Card My Yard Erie.

  • 1st place: $5,000 TV ad campaign for non-profit charity of choice and iPad
  • 2nd place: iPad
  • 3rd place: Pizza party
  • 4th place: Pizza party
