Good News from Deborah Gaal

Hi, I’m Deborah Gaal and I'm happy to announce that my second novel, Synchronicities on the Avenue of the Saints, was awarded First Place for Mainstream/Literary Fiction of the 2022 Writer's Digest Self Published Book Awards. That's the third award my books have earned.

My first book, The Dream Stitcher, was a finalist in the 2018 National Jewish Book Awards and winner of the 2019 IndieReader Discovery Awards.

I enjoy crafting novels that bring darkness into the light, touch on societal issues, and make our personal trials seem relevant and manageable through the allegory of relatable characters. Magic realism adds an intriguing element to the story for me and I hope for my readers.

My sincere hope is that my reader both enjoys the journey of the story, while also accessing a tiny portal that might shed a photon of light on their own personal schlep through this complicated universe.
