Remember, unlicensed productions take money directly from the playwright. Please let us know if this is happening in your neighborhood by emailing [email protected].

Owning Their Words

Concord Theatricals has published a white paper that serves as introduction to copyright law, anti-piracy laws, and more, entitled Owning Their Words: Understanding the Playwright, Protecting Their Work & How You Can Help. We encourage you to read this material and share it with others, to continue the fight for our artists.

We also believe that all young artists in the theatre should be educated about anti-piracy. If you are an educator and would like copies of our white paper to be distributed at your school or conservatory, please contact us at [email protected].

Arts Advocacy Day

Concord Theatricals is a proud National Partner of Americans for the Arts' National Arts Action Summit and Arts Advocacy Day.

The National Arts Action Summit is a multi-day event bringing together arts advocates from across the country. The following day is Arts Advocacy Day, when advocates take their passion, knowledge, and stories to Capitol Hill for meetings with their congressional leaders. Arts Advocacy Day brings together a broad cross section of America's cultural and civic organizations, along with more than 500 grassroots advocates from across the country, to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts.
