Jonathan Haskell / ALIBI Music

Jonathan D. Haskell is an 18-year veteran in the independent music publishing community. As Vice President of Publishing for ALIBI Music, he has expanded the company’s publishing business by over 1,000 percent in annual revenue since joining in 2016. ALIBI is now a leading provider of professionally composed music and sound effects serving a global clientele of film studios, TV networks, trailer houses, streaming platforms, advertisers, video game companies and independent creators. Featuring 250,000+ audio files including stems, alt mixes and cutdowns, ALIBI’s robust library is known for its high quality and versatility. Jonathan is also an advisor to Glow Music Group, a boutique music licensing and publishing company representing over 350 indie artists, with recent placements in “Big Sky,” “Woke,” “Seal Team,” “America's Funniest Home Videos,” “Animal Kingdom,” “Grey's Anatomy” and “Mayans,” as well as ads for Michael Kors, Gatorade and Coke. Additionally, Glow Music Group represents an extensive vintage catalog of over 8,000 copyrights and is founded by Jonathan's wife, music mogul Kari Kimmel. Prior to ALIBI and Glow, Jonathan worked under AIMP founder Michael H. Goldsen for 8 years as Copyright Manager at Criterion Music, which was recently acquired by Universal Music Group. In his spare time, Jonathan continues to write, record and perform music in his bands Seven Saturdays, Glasz and POLLA, with acclaim from such notable outlets as Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Los Angeles Times and NME, which described his music as “serene and beautiful… the kind of music to stare out of aeroplane windows to.”
