Reading proficiency is one of the fundamental goals of Forsyth County Schools. What a better way to support this worthy endeavor AND support your school and PTO!

=> Avid readers typically do better in school and are more likely to achieve long-term success in life.

Our goal this year is to have each child spend a minimum of 30 minutes per day reading for the Read-A-Thon period. We hope they'll discover a love for books and reading that will last a lifetime!

The Read-A-Thon is also Midway PTO's last fundraiser of the year, so we hope you'll help us make this a big success!

Our goal this year is $15,000. Temperatures can regularly be into the 90's for half the school year, so we would love to provide a little shade for the playground. An outdoor canopy can also be used or outdoor instruction.

We are encouraging maximum participation this year by making making donations and pledging as easy as possible. We are challenging each child to read 500 minutes at least by the end of the fundraiser, and we are asking for specific dollar amount pledges.

We have some really fun prizes we're giving away to encourage your participation.

The first student to raise $250 will receive a mini RC drone.

The teacher of the class who raises the most money will receive a $150 Amazon teacher grant.

The top THREE classes to raise the most will receive a free ICE CREAM PARTY from the lunch room.

Additional prizes may be added as we progress through the Read-A-Thon.

99Pledges is free for non-profit organizations to use. You will be asked for a donation to support their platform. This donation is OPTIONAL. We still pay the 3% merchant fee, but that is the only cost to us for using this platform.
