Come Celebrate our 40th Anniversary of Service to the South Bay Community

The House of Yahweh has been helping needy families and individuals in the South Bay since 1982. Our goal has always been a "hand up", rather than a "hand out". The programs you support provide food, clothing, shelter, advocacy, social service referrals and counseling funds to keep the working poor from becoming homeless. Because of the generosity of supporters like you we have been able to distribute more than 55,000 boxes and bags of food last year, supply 13,000 annual vouchers for clothing, fed more than 150 homeless every week, and provided social services to thousands every year. These funds really do change lives for the better and we are grateful for your continued benevolence.

We are doing a new fundraiser for our fortieth anniversary celebration - an afternoon Fiesta with lively Latin music and dancing. In addition to the entertainment, we will have a four-course lunch with complementary sangria and soda accompanied by silent online and live auctions. You can pick up some real bargains such as wine, restaurant gift certificates, household and entertainment merchandise, vacations, art, and tickets for entertainment events.

• Gala Begins at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 21st
• Silent Auction Closes at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21st
• Gala Luncheon is Served at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21st
