How Do You Picture Wild Montana?
We’re excited to announce the winners of our 14th annual photo contest.
After considering over 1,700 quality photos of Montana’s wild public lands and waters, our judges have chosen the 14th annual Picture Wild Montana photo contest winners.
Our judges selected three photos that best capture the beauty of Montana’s wild public lands and waters. The top 20 photos will be featured in the halls of Benifis, a nonprofit healthcare provider in Great Falls, along with previous Picture Wild Montana photo finalists.

A Look Back at Our Previous Winners
Last year we encouraged participants to submit photos and videos highlighting their connection to our public lands, waters, and wildlife while also showcasing the joy of exploring Montana’s wilderness areas, state parks, national forests, wilderness study areas, and other public lands.
A panel of Wild Montana staff and Luke Duran, art director at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ “Montana Outdoors” magazine, picked the winners.
