Hi there, in this video let’s take a quick look at how to search for an asset file using the Adobe Asset Link panel for a creative user. Adobe Asset Link streamlines collaboration between creative professionals and marketers in the content creation process. It connects Adobe Experience Manager assets with Creative Cloud desktop applications like InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The Adobe Assent Link panel allows creatives to access and modify content stored in AEM assets without leaving the application they’re most familiar with. From the Creative Cloud product toolbar options, choose window, and from the extensions list, select Adobe Asset Link. Let’s choose the AEM environment, and navigate to your organization’s asset folders. With Adobe Asset Link, you can quickly search and find relevant assets from your organization through a single interface across Experience Manager assets and Creative Cloud for Enterprise. To search for assets, folders, or collections, type a keyword in the search field, and press Enter. By default, the scope of search is set to all, which means it is a global search. All relevant assets, folders, and collections within AEM Assets are displayed here, not just the entities in your current location. Assets in your Creative Cloud Assets account are returned in a separate section below. If you find a suitable asset for your design file, you can use the asset file by using the assets context menu, and provides a list of options that can be executed on the file. To close the search results, click the delete icon in the search field, which brings you back to the location where you were before the search. You can also delete the text manually and then press Enter. The search function in AEM analyzes asset metadata, asset name, and the path of the asset, folders, and collections. Adobe Asset Link also allows you to use an asset to search visually similar results within AEM Assets. Powered by a machine learning with Adobe Sensei, the visual search displays results with aesthetic characteristics related to your target image. To find images that are similar to an asset, open the context menu of the asset, and choose the find similar option. The search field then evolves into a similar field with the asset’s thumbnail and its title or name, and similar assets appear in the panel result. To use the find similar feature, ensure that you have the smart content service enabled for your organization. I hope you now have a good enough understanding of how to search for assets using the Adobe Asset Link panel for a creative user. Adobe Asset Link streamlines collaboration between creative professionals and marketers in the content creation process. -
