Hello, everyone. In this video, we will have a look at the steps to troubleshoot OpenOffice specific issues on a Unix setup. To start with, please ensure that the correct or supported version of OpenOffice is installed. Also make sure that the installation is correct, that is- the OpenOffice launches successfully and all the dialogues are canceled. To note that, currently, the supported version of OpenOffice is 4.1.2.
The next step is to ensure the PDFG user is added. To do the same, login to Admin User console and travel to User Accounts, under Services and PDF Generator. Click on Add and enter the username and password of the user who has administrative privileges and click on Save. But remember, you need to restart the application server after making the changes. And for the final step, set the OpenOffice path with 32-bit Java on the Linux machine. Make sure that the path that is set in console or the directory Profile.
