Hello everyone. Today, we will discussing how to troubleshoot issues related to Jetty configuration in AEM. If you want to change Jetty configuration, for example, disabled Send Server Header details due to security reasons. And after the changes, you’re able to see that the instance is no more accessible, like on the screen, it happens because OTB Jetty configuration has few default settings. For example, port number by default is set to 8080. And if AEM was initially set up on different port number, say 4502, that instance will be re-binded to port 8080. To resolve this, you can visit the configuration manager in system console, and navigate to our .Apache.Felix.http, and then you have to make sure that you have properly applied HTTP port number, say 4502, as highlighted on the screen. Then you can navigate to http.config file in the Felix folder under Apache, and add the highlighted line with the desired port number in the file. Once you restart the AEM instance, the problem will no longer persist. Thank you. -
