The Greater Des Moines partnership is excited to team up with the Iowa Women's Business Center to bring you First Fridays! The goal of First Fridays is for the aspiring entrepreneurs and the people of Des Moines to hear from business owners and entrepreneurs who have helped shape the communities in which we live. The speakers are makers, store owners, movers and shakers, creators of regional or national brands, and all have stories that are uniquely their own.
Whitney Warne, owner of Ivory House Photography, specializes in creating a comfortable environment where her clients feel confident and empowered in front of the camera. In addition to a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in photography she also has 10 years of both shooting and studio management experience. Whitney returned to Des Moines in 2016 to open Ivory House Photography. Whether looking through a lens or cleaning up the parks, you will always find Whitney focused on the task at hand. With her sidekick, Winston, and a studio filled with natural light, she greets clients, friends and family with warmth and an open heart.
