An informative and entertaining two-day course for teachers to gain confidence and expertise about their own personal finances preparing them to teach the same to their students. Financial experts from around the state will address spending and financial planning; credit and debt; saving and investing; risk management including identify fraud and handling difficult financial stresses. Each section will also highlight examples of effective classroom materials that can be integrated into many K-12 subject areas.
