A Biblical Precedent

Oregonians who attended two of the Restore America Conferences in 2006 and 2007 may recall the brilliant presentations by Herb Titus, Constitutional Scholar and founding Dean of the College of Law and Government in Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Titus, a graduate of Baker High School in Baker, Oregon, the University of Oregon (Phi Beta Kappa), and Harvard Law (cum laude), was a former ACLU attorney, and served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Department of Justice.  He came to Christ in 1975 while a professor of Law at the University of Oregon.
 
On October 24th, Philip Jauregui of Judicial Action Group published an intriguing article by Titus, titled "Trump As Jepthah." His article noting the parallel between Trump and Jepthah, was prophetic.

Call To Prayer

LORD God, You have heard our prayers and shown mercy.  You have heard our cry and given us another chance to return to You. Without Your providential hand moving in the hearts of your people, the Prince of the power of the air would have prevailed in America, and the spirit of darkness gone forward unabated.  By Your hand we now have a moment in time to honor, exalt, and lift up Your Name as the people of God and as a nation.  May we worship you in Spirit and Truth anew, determined to stand strong for righteousness and the pulling down of strongholds that devastate the people and destroy the nation. We pray for the President Elect, his family, and for all who seek to assemble wise and honorable men and women of faith to assist in the restoration of government of, by, and for, the people. Protect them from the evil one, body, soul, and spirit.  In the Name of the One Who has redeemed and empowered those who have chosen to follow Him, with all their heart, Amen.
