May's Radical Faerie - Queer Spirit Drum Circle will be different! We are going on a transcendental sound journey, performed and facilitated by Faerie Mystic. We arrive in this world with our first inhale and we depart with our last exhale. The Breath is an inevitable and often unconscious part of our life.

The Faerie Mystic project combines acoustic and electronic musical expression along with Shamanic and Eastern spiritual practice. Classical woodwinds along with different ethnic instruments such as didgeridoo, Jewish harp and Tibetan singing bowls create an ambient, tribal sound inspired by the indigenous music of Eastern and Western Europe as well as central Asia. Adding live loops, electronic effects and even Mongolian overtone singing centuries of culture are incorporated into the experience.

Recommended to bring along a yoga mat/blanket/cushion – the evening will involve meditation as well as movement, and will end with drumming and dancing.

Queer Spirit Festival is a not-for-profit, grassroots community event, run by volunteers, celebrating the creative magical spirit of LGBTQ+ people. The theme for the 2024 festival is 'Born of Earth, Born to Love' 

Over 700 people are expected at the 5th Queer Spirit Festival, at beautiful Bridwell Park in Devon, 15-19 August 2024. We gather to relax, play and make new friends, absorb the healing energies of nature, to share our stories, explore and discover new ideas and practices, honour our ancestry, sing and dance under the full moon and dream new dreams...

Dozens of facilitators are sharing their skills in the Workshop Dome, Campaigns Area, Women's Space, Yoga Space, Sacred Sexuality Temple and outside around the park. There will be group ceremonies, fire circles, drumming, dj sets and two performance stages featuring singer-songwriters, poets, bands, drag, clowns and more. Plus cafés, welfare space, crafts area, traders, healing garden, sauna & Accessible, Quiet and Family camping areas.

Tickets give you entry to the festival, camping spot and free access to all the events going on at the festival.

Each car parked at the festival requires a 'Car park ticket'

If you wish to camp in your live-in vehicle, you must also purchase the 'Live-in vehicle pass'

Glamping is paid per tent which is for 2 people. It covers arrival from 2pm Thursday to departure by 10am Monday.

Children under the age of 6 on the first day of the festival get in free, but you still need to book a ticket for them.

If you wish to pay by a method other than those shown on the booking page, please do contact us to arrange.

A fixed booking fee of 1.7% will be added to all purchases irrespective of payment method.
