2020 - Swims saw action in 20 games for the Lions starting in 19 at second base... Hit .282 with 20 hits, 14 runs scored and 14 runs driven in... Had a double, triple and two home runs... Defensively posted a .971 fielding percentage with 28 putouts and 39 assists.

2019 - Swims saw action in 54 games for the Lions with 54 starts ... He hit .325 with 75 hits, 49 runs scored and 36 runs driven in. Of his 75 hits, 22 were extra base hits with five homers, 16 doubles and one triple. Defensively, he had posted  a .978 fielding percentage with 78 putouts and 96 assists... Named MIAA Freshman of the Year and was a first-team All-MIAA selection.

Prior to Southern - Swims comes to the Lions after a standout career at McCleur North High School in St. Louis where he was a teammate with incoming Lion Jackson Boschert ... Swims was a four-year letter winner on the baseball field, while also lettering in football and basketball ... Swims was a two-time first-team All-Conference pick, while earning Conference Player of the Year honors as a senior. 

Personal - Swims is the son of Dexter and Audrea Swims and plans to major in biology and pre-physical therapy at Southern.
