2020 - Played in 15 games while starting 11 of them during the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season... She posted a 3.25 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP as she had a 7-3 overall record including two shutouts in the circle... She allowed 38 runs, just 30 earned and 64 hits in 64.2 innings pitched...  She struck out 24 batters.

2019 - Made 31 appearances, including 19 starts while wrapping up the her sophomore season with an ERA of 3.59 and seven wins for the Lions in the circle … one of three Lions to earn the MIAA Academic Excellence Award by sustaining a 4.0 GPA on top of being one of 12 Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll … through 113.0 innings while limiting opponents faced to 58 runs earned and putting together six complete games … finished her first full season of play tied for third in the MIAA with three saves, ninth in opponent batting average (.264), and tenth in strikeouts (88) … matched a career-high seven strikeouts in one game in seven innings pitched against Central Missouri (3/20) ... completed the 2019 season with a .962 fielding percentage from 22 assists and three putouts in 26 chances as part of a squad that put together a fielding percentage of .966 for second overall in the MIAA while being tied for the least amount of errors committed at 45.

2018 - Appeared in 19 and started in 11 games with three complete games in the circle for the Lions as a freshman...one of two MIAA Freshman and Newcomer Academic Excellence recipients as well as one of 12 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (4.0 GPA)...recorded 45 strikeouts for second on the team while walking 27 in 59.1 innings pitched...struck out a season-high seven batters in six innings pitched at Rogers State (2/28).

Prior to Southern - Atkin comes to Southern way of Sherwood HS in Creighton..was a four year starter and letter winner inside the circle...tallied 78 career wins for the Marksmen with 1,056 career strikeouts and a career ERA of 1.035...at the plate Abby finished her career with a .403 batting average with .480 on base percentage and a .565 slugging percentage...tallied 89 career RBIs while earning four first team All-District and All-Region honors and was a two-time first team All-State selection her junior and senior seasons...Atkin set six school records while at Sherwood HS in RBIs in a season with 30, strikeouts in a season, 312, season ERA, 0.517, most wins in a season, 25, innings pitched in a season, 177, and career strikeouts, 1,056.
 
Personal - Atkin is the daughter of Mike and Jennifer Atkin and is undecided on her major at Southern.
