Dr. Chenggang Wang earned his PhD degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Oregon State University in 2007.   His primary research fields are natural resource economics and rural development, with a focus on land, water, and the behavior of low-income households whose livelihood depends on those resources. He has travelled extensively on the Tibetan Plateau conducting field research and has given numerous invited lectures on the region's resource degradation and poverty issues.  Dr. Wang teaches economic optimization, advanced production economics, and principles of microeconomics.
