welcome to HBT!
Temple Hillel B'nai Torah (HBT) is a Jewish Reconstructionist congregation. Located in Boston, Massachusetts’s West Roxbury neighborhood.
Our goal is to be welcoming and egalitarian. We are creating a Jewish home for all—a home for multi-racial families, interfaith families, and those who identify as LGBTQ. We commit to full inclusion for people with disabilities.
Our core principles are community, worship, learning, and social action.
HBT is a haimish (Yiddish word for cozy and homey) community. We are rooted in Jewish tradition while responsive to the world. Our members engage in the creative process of bringing new perspectives to our practices. Together we make tradition meaningful.
We welcome you to join our community. Attend an upcoming event or service, or explore Chaverim religious school for children.
