Move to Spring 2021 Season Football Ticket Information

The Big Sky Conference has announced that the 2020 football season has been shifted to this coming spring. Exact dates and further details are still to come and we will notify you as soon as we have more information. Rest assured, as a season ticket holder, you have nothing further to do to maintain your season tickets for the spring season; the season will be recognized as the 2020 EWU Football Season that you have already purchased or renewed for.

As we understand the challenging times for our loyal fans and season ticket holders. If the announced season has a change in the number of home games, we plan to offer all purchasers the following options for the difference reflecting a prorated amount. Once the schedule is released, we will share the adjusted 2020 season ticket and parking pricing, and subsequent EAF donations.

Overages Related to Season Tickets and Parking:

Option 1.  Commit the overage value to Eagle Athletic Fund as a 100% philanthropic donation. *BONUS* - Amount will receive three times (3x) Priority Points valuation.

Option 2.  Rollover the overage value towards a credit towards your 2021 football season tickets.

Option 3.  Request the overage value as a refund.

Overages Related to Eagle Athletic Fund Priority Seating:

Option 1.  Convert the overage value to a 100% philanthropic donation. *BONUS* - Amount will receive three times (3x) Priority Points valuation.

Option 2.  Rollover the overage value towards a credit towards your 2021 EAF Priority Seating required donation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Eagle Athletics and Eastern Washington University continue to plan for varying scenarios for the upcoming football season, working hand-in-hand with local and state health officials.

Do the season tickets I renewed work for the spring?
Yes, if purchased season tickets for the fall 2020 football season and made the associated EAF donation, your tickets will be converted for the season to commence in the spring.

What happens if the football season that is moved to the spring is eventually canceled?
Prompt communication will be made from the Athletic Department on next actions, should the 2020 football season be subsequently canceled. Donors will have multiple options regarding applying their 2020 season tickets/donation to the 2021 season, or transitioning this payment to a philanthropic contribution to the Eagle Athletic Fund for three times (3x) Priority Points.

When can I expect to hear an official decision regarding the spring football schedule?
All changes to our schedule or ticketing procedures will be directly communicated to season ticket holders, announced on our website at goeags.com, and all Eagles social media platforms.

I have health/financial concerns and do not feel comfortable committing to season tickets this year, but plan to return in 2021. Can I maintain my current season location(s)?
We are committed to working with each season ticket holder on their individual needs and unique situations. Please contact us directly at 509-359-6059.

Will tailgating and parking be affected by new COVID-19 measures?
At this time, we continue to work with local and state health officials on any new health-related measures in the tailgate and parking lots and will release new information when it is finalized.

What happens to my seats if Roos Field cannot operate at 100% capacity?
We are looking at a multitude of scenarios regarding safe seating at Roos Field. While reduced capacity is a possibility, nothing has been confirmed and we will release information as we continue to receive more guidance from local and state health officials.

How can I best support Eastern Washington University student-athletes right now?
Eagle Athletics relies heavily on the support of our season ticket holders and athletic donors. Our goal is to reduce the risk of our student-athletes receiving reduced support and opportunities to be successful. If the season is altered in any way, Eagle Athletics will remain responsible for the educational support including scholarships, housing and wellness expenses for student-athletes. If your financial situation allows, please consider contributing to the Eagle Athletic Fund, in support of these incredible young men and women.

When do single game tickets and mini plans go on sale?
At this time, a date for single game tickets and mini plans on-sale has not been set. Please continue to watch goeags.com for the most up-to-date ticket information.

What are Priority Points?
Priority Points are earned through donations to the Eagle Athletic Fund. For every $100 donated, 1 point is awarded to the member’s account.

Why should I care about Priority Points?
Priority Points are the method by which EWU Athletics applies all seat requests. For example, each year the ticket office receives more than 100 requests to relocate their football season tickets into chair-back seating. All of those who make that request are then slotted in order according to their EAF Priority Points. The same can be said for tailgating/parking requests, allocation of seating at away football games, tickets to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, etc.

I’m interested in being a new season ticket holder, where can I purchase seats?
Fans interested in becoming new season ticket holders for the 2020 season (played in the spring of 2021) may contact the EWU Ticket Office at 509-359-6059.

Are there any plans in place for other fall sports including Volleyball, Soccer and Cross Country?
As decisions are made relative to the Volleyball, Soccer and Cross Country seasons, information will be made available on goeags.com and through the various Eagle social media platforms.

What is the best way for me to reach the Eagle Ticket Office or the Eagle Athletic Fund staff if I have further questions or need assistance?
If you have questions or concerns beyond what is outlined above, please do not hesitate to reach out to the EWU Ticket Office (tickets@ewu.edu or 509-359-6059), the Eagle Athletic Fund (eaf@ewu.edu or 509-359-6208), or members of our external team listed below:
