Welcome to Season Three of Coach Taggart's Touchdown Readers
Coach Taggart's Touchdown Readers program is designed to encourage elementary and middle school-age students (K-8) to continue reading over the summer. With a goal of four (4) grade-level appropriate books read over the summer, Coach Taggart's Touchdown Readers promotes reading and learning over the summer. Students who complete the program will have the ability to claim four (4) tickets to FAU football’s first home game with the upcoming season. *
Coach Taggart's Touchdown Readers is endorsed by FAU Haggerty Family Head Football Coach Willie Taggart. The program is open to all students from kindergarten through 8th grade (K-8), based on their grade level for 2022-23 school year. Coach Taggart's Touchdown Readers program runs through August 19th. **
Each student who completes the program will receive four (4) tickets to an FAU football game. * Students who complete the program and attend a game also will receive a Coach Taggart's Touchdown Reader t-shirt and a certificate signed by Coach Taggart. Those who complete the program and attend a game will be recognized at that game and will have an opportunity to take photos on the field at FAU Stadium following the game.
To complete this program, a parent/guardian of the student may download the reading tracker form above where the student can keep track of their books. Once the form is filled with four (4) books, please visit
this page to submit information about the student, the books read, etc. The online form must be completed by a parent/guardian. Once submitted, the FAU Ticket Office will follow up with the parent or guardian listed with four (4) FAU football tickets with the ability to purchase additional tickets at an discounted rate.
