Gov. Jared Polis recently nominated Jerry Glick to join Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Board of Trustees. Polis also reappointed Board Chair Russell Noles and Trustee Marissa Molina.

The term for all three trustees begins Jan. 1 and ends Dec. 31, 2026. Glick will join board meetings beginning in January and will become a full voting member upon confirmation by the state Senate Education Committee. The committee is expected to vote on his confirmation during the upcoming legislative session, which begins next month.

“I am delighted and grateful that Gov. Polis reappointed Marissa and me, and I welcome Jerry to our Board of Trustees,” Noles said. “Jerry is a long-term advocate of MSU Denver, and I look forward to working with him as a superb addition to our remarkably talented team of trustees.”

Glick will bring to the board decades of experience in managing and developing real estate. He is a co-founder of Urban Ventures LLC, a multifamily-housing and commercial developer; a general partner with Columbia Group LLP, a real-estate investment partnership; and managing partner of Columbia Holdings LLC.

A Denver native with a business degree from the University of Southern California, Glick hopes his expertise can help MSU Denver advance its affordable-housing goals for students, faculty members and staff members. Glick says he’s looking forward to better understanding all the opportunities that MSU Denver offers to its students and seeing how he can be most helpful in furthering the University’s mission.

“I’m most interested in the students who attend MSU Denver,” Glick said. “The first-generation students, the undocumented students and the students who know that they’ll have a bright future with a degree from MSU Denver.”
