Recovery is a lifestyle

Are you causing a brother to stumble?
Is a substance in control of your life?
Are secular programs not working for you?
Do you think that God can deliver you?

Come join us on Wednesday nights @ 6:30pm.

We are a group of broken people with only one agenda: to support you through whatever you are going through. No judgement and no strings attached.

Please send us a message via the contact form and we will send you the location information.

Alcohol

Do you have a daily drink because you think you need it?
Has alcohol caused you to lose a job or a relationship?
Is your spouse sober and you continue to drink around them?

Co-Dependancy

Are you enabling someone with a substance abuse problem?
Are you making excuses for them?

Pornography

40% of males & 25% of females engage in viewing pornography and this results in the reason for 54% of divorces.

Drugs

Do you use a drug to help you get through a day?Does your body tell you that you need a fix?
Has drugs caused you to lose a job or a relationship?
Is your spouse sober and you continue to use  around them?

Food

Do you use food to compensate for an underlying need or desire?
Is food a contributing factor to a weight or self-esteem issue?

Other

Is something (other than God) controlling your life?

Our meeting is very casual, with water and snacks, gathered around a table as if we are in a family kitchen. We are here to talk amongst ourselves, or just lean back and listen, and glean from the Word.

  • Worship Song - We play a Youtube video from the plethora of contemporary Christian artists found online.
  • Opening Prayer - Group leader opens our meeting with prayer.
  • Readings - Group leaders read the guidelines and the "Eight Principles of Recovery"
  • Thankfulness Exercise - group discusses what they are thankful for in the past week
  • Lesson - Group leader reads the "lesson" of the week and the group answers pre-determined questions. This is a wonderful time of fellowship that can be short or quite lengthy.
  • Verses Exercise - random verses are selected from a basket and read aloud
  • Closing Prayer - The meeting is ended in prayer, a perfect circle.
