Our Associate Dean of Students for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and our Director of Multicultural Student Services invite you to join us this afternoon as we offer an open space for students.

In the wake of the mass shooting in Atlanta last week, as we continue to process the hate and violence that has been so increasingly prevalent, we invite students to stop by to check in, to process, to simply exist in community with us and with one another.

This will be a completely informal space where there are no expectations other than for individual students to come as they are and to allow others to do the same.

Mai Khou Xiong and Dominique Vargas will be in this space with a few other select faculty and staff (Fred Brown, Nicole Eastman, Jim Handley, Rickie-Ann Legleitner, and Vickie Sanchez) to be with students one on one, in small groups, or in any capacity each individual student prefers.

Students are welcome to come and go anytime between 4:30-6:00pm.
