To Parents/Guardians of TPES Second Grade Students

As part of the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Gifted and Talented (GT) identification process, our school is gathering student information to help us plan for the 2023-2024 school year. This screening process includes gathering academic performance data, as well as information from parents and school staff. To learn more about this process please visit bit.ly/gt-identification-2023

Your input is an important data source that will be used in the GT Identification process.  Please tell us about your student’s strengths by completing the Parent Input Form online by March 17, 2023. Directions for accessing and completing the form online are provided below. If you need additional support, please contact our elementary school’s GT Liaison or middle school Accelerated and Enriched Instruction Support Teacher (AEIST).

To fill out Parent Input Form for your student, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open an internet browser on your device (Google Chrome is preferred).
  2. Go to: http://www.google.com
  3. Look at the upper right corner to see the Google Apps account information.  If you see a blue “Sign in” rectangle proceed to step 5.
  4. If you see a circle with a picture or letter, click it to display information about the Google account

  1. Upon successful login, type the URL: https://bit.ly/GT-parent-input (URL is case sensitive)
  2. Enter answers to all questions, type your name under Electronic Signature, and click the Submit button once completed.
