Ronan Byrne, the oldest of the Byrne Brothers, is the hottest bachelor in the small town of Blossom, Nevada. With his jet black hair, sapphire eyes, and a body sculpted by manual labor and not a personal trainer, every woman wants him in her bed. But he wants a challenge, not a woman who fawns all over him. However, with the financial trouble his family's dude ranch is having, he has no inclination to date, let alone get married.

Then he meets a mystery blonde who won't give him the time of day, and he is instantly drawn to her. She is Blakely Pierce, a Manhattan businesswoman who is in town to serve as maid of honor at her best friend's wedding. With her demanding career, she has no interest in romance, but unbeknownst to her, Ronan is the best man at the same wedding to be held at the ranch. The more she ignores him, the more he is curious about her and why she keeps running away from him. He refuses to give up on Blakely because he knows she is worth the fight, but he only has so long until it's time for Blakely to return to her life in New York City.

His For Now is book #1 in The Byrne Brothers series. Declan, Ronan and Liam are the Byrne brothers. This is Ronan‘s story. The Black Rose Ranch is owned and operated by Ronan’s family. Ronan’s best friend Sean is getting married at the ranch and he is the best man.

Blossom is a small town. Blakely Pierce clearly sticks out as an out-of-towner at the Blossom Café where she catches the eye of Ronan Byrne. He is immediately attracted to Blakely and is thrilled to know that she too will be part of Sean’s upcoming wedding as the maid of honor.

The story is a contemporary romance. It is fast paced. Ronan and Blakely are opposite in most ways. Country guy versus city girl. They go from one or two conversations to full on steamy hotness. Their characters are fully developed, each one having their own “baggage” to deal with. Ronan gets Blakely to open up about her past and he opens up as well.

She’s whip smart and lives for her career. She’s also very sweet, warm, and compassionate.

Ronan is confident, strong, sexy and a gentleman. Blakely is also strong and confident in her career but insecure in certain other areas of her life. I was surprised that one minute she is confident and climbing the corporate ladder, next she is insecure about certain issues, and then does something wild and uninhibited.

He was desperate to see her. To smell her, to touch her. He was craving her.

I did like the story. The writing was smooth and easy. It did flow but at a fast pace. I felt like there was something missing. I’m not sure what it was. The characters are genuine and likeable. Ronan and Blakely develop and support one another with their goals and dreams. The story is straight forward and the drama is minimal. The sex is HOT! Ronan and Blakely grew on me as the story progressed. If you like a fast paced contemporary romance then His For Now is for you!

Good gracious can Sofia Tate write a hot steamy romance.   A tall, dark and dreamy cowboy sets this story ablaze and the fact that he has Irish roots is a bonus.  I loved that the main female character Blakely, wasn’t the typical waif that fills most book pages.  She was smart, strong and independent and curvy; she was a more realistic character.   As with all the books by Sofia Tate I loved His for Now and could not put it down, I devoured it in one day!  This is the first book in The Byrne Brothers series and I’m sure the other two brothers will be just as intense.  His for Now is definitely a 5-star read.

Blakely Pierce is in Nevada for her best friend’s wedding.  A week of wedding festivities is all she is expecting on the dude ranch.  When Blakely meets a gorgeous blued eyed devil, she can’t control her smart mouth.  Ronan Byrne knows the stranger in the diner is a city girl when he first sees her, and he can’t wait to get to know her.  Every chance he gets though Blakely shuts him down and sends him packing.  Ronan is determined to win her over, but he only has a week to do it while the wedding party is on his family’s ranch.  But if he gets the girl what happens at the end of the week when she goes back to the big city?  Will Blakely just be able to walk away, and will Ronan be able to let her go?

This is the first book that I’ve read by Sofia Tate and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This story doesn’t have a lot of twists and turns or surprises. For me it was more of an inner struggle of self confidence and self discovery.

The characters are well rounded (although I could always use a little more alpha in my H) and it’s well written. The plot moves quickly, which I like and despite the sometimes serious nature, it’s also a light tale of sacrifice and true love.

There’s also a glimpse of Declan, one of the Byrne Brothers, who features in book #2 which I look forward to.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable first instalment to this series.

Tate finds strength in vulnerability. Her characters are people that are perfectly flawed, yet larger than life. In their weakest moments is when their courageous spirit shines through. Ronan and Blakely are caught in a masquerade of their own making. She's a woman on the mend, afraid to let anyone get too close. He's a man in need of an escape from the hassle his world has become. What ensues is a challenge that chips away at the pain of disappointment, the fear of self-doubt and illuminates the power of love. There's beauty in heartbreak. His For Now is a watercolor of love in all shades.

This is the first book in a trilogy. This was a good book. I absolutely loved Ronan and Blakely. Ronan was exactly who Blakely needed to bring her out of her shell both personally and professionally. And Blakely was exactly who Ronan needed to see things in a different light. Overall, this was a good book, and I look forward to reading the next one in the trilogy.

His for Now by Sofia Tate
“Opposites attract, 3 stars”

Blakely is a city girl with some major hang ups thanks to her past. When she travels to Blossom for her best friend’s wedding she didn’t know what to expect. She’s one of those women who fights every desire she has, and Ronan is no exception. Ronan is a rancher at heart. He lives and breaths his home. When he sees Blakely he’s intrigued, when he spends some time with her he wants her. But Blakely is hot and cold. Will he get her to give him a chance?
His for Now wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. For me I didn’t like how fast this story went. It was like one second, she was fighting him then the next they were on like donkey kong. Add in the short time frame and I just wasn’t feeling it. It was kind of like whip lash for me and turned me off. But what doesn’t work for me might work for you.

The perfect balance of passion & sweetness

HIS FOR NOW
is the second book that I have read by Sofia Tate and she definitely has me hooked. This is the first story in her new series about the Byrne Brothers and she certainly had me captured by the storyline and the characters.

Ronan Byrne was simply divine. A country boy at heart, his only time spent away from the family home was when he was away attending University. He is considered to be "quite a catch" by all the ladies, but someone in the past has hurt him and he is wary about getting into another relationship. That all changes when he enters the local cafe, in downtown Blossom, and spots the "city girl" sitting quietly in the back corner. This woman captures his attention with her long legs, sapphire eyes and something that no other woman around has - curves.

Blakely Pierce is in Blossom to attend the wedding of her best friend Gigi. One week is plenty of time to be away from her Manhattan apartment and her busy job, the sooner this wedding is over and done with the better. Approached by a tall, extremely stunning "cowboy", she tries to ignore him, but fails miserably due to his persistence. Ronan slowly breaks down Blakely's barriers and what ensues is a beautiful story of understanding, friendship and love (though neither is willing to admit that last one). The big question is, can these two people, so perfect for each other, have a fling for a week and then return to their normal lives and forget about each other, or will their lives be dramatically altered?

This book had the perfect balance of passion and sweetness. There were some hot, steamy scenes that really had me fanning away to cool myself down. It was a realistic look at the beginning of a friendship that had the ability to turn into something more. Throw in a bit of worry over the future of the Byrne family home and you have the perfect story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I adored this book. Everything from the storyline and the characters punched all the right buttons. The author has given us a wonderful tale that is funny, heartfelt and full of sass and romance.

We have the sexy Ronan who is dealing with a lot, including the fact his family’s ranch is in financial trouble. On his way back from a meeting with the bank, he stops at the local diner which is where he sees a stranger in town. Ronan is drawn to her and tries to talk with her but she basically blows him off. But trust me when I say Ronan doesn’t give up easily.

Blakely is a successful business woman and a “City Girl” that lives in Manhattan. She is smart, sassy and stands her ground with almost everyone. She is in this “hick town”, something she’s not excited about, for her best friend’s wedding. She stops at the local diner to get a little work done before heading to the dude ranch. That is when she see the sexy cowboy enter and her insides melt. When he comes to speak to her, her defenses kick in, her walls come up and she all but runs Ronan off. (You see Blakely has see esteem issues due to her father). But Ronan doesn’t give up easily and when he learns she’s in town for the wedding at the ranch, he vows to himself he’ll break through those walls and get to know her.

This is a fast paced, funny, sexy read that I highly recommend. Ronan and Blakely will warm your heart and have you rooting for any type of happy ending. 2 Thumbs up for a great start to the series and this reader is anxiously awaiting book 2 in the Byrne Brothers Series.

On his way back from a business meeting concerning his financially troubled ranch, Ronan stops in at the diner. There he spots a woman who is clearly from out of town and is instantly drawn to her. Blakely is in town for a friend’s wedding and isn’t too thrilled about the prospect of no wifi or the comforts of Manhattan. While attempting to squeeze in some work at the local diner she meets a man. Despite the attraction she feels her walls come up and she blows him off. But as luck would have it she’s staying at his ranch for the wedding and he isn’t taking no for an answer.

Oh my goodness this story was adorable! I loved Ronan. The man is cocky, but such a sweetheart underneath it all. He’s also unwavering in his goal to get Blakely to let down her walls and see herself through his eyes. He was so easy to swoon over. Blakely was such a different character than I would have expected. She’s successful, put-together, and beautiful and yet her issues with her self image made her complete relatable and real.

This book was just the right balance of steam and sweet and I loved every single page. Sexy, sassy, and witty, His For Now was the perfect romance to get lost in and Sofia Tate is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. 5 Stars.

His For Now wraps you up in the perfect blend of sweet and sexy! I'm so in love with Blossom, Nevada and the people that live there, most especially Blakely and Ronan! Sofia Tate brings us just enough sweet to send our hearts pitter pattering, and just enough sexy to have us clenching our thighs! Blakely is a city girl and a bit out of her comfort zone at a dude ranch for her best friends wedding. Ronan is the town's most eligible bachelor and not afraid to go after what he wants. Including a beautiful woman who has self image issues.

Blakely surprised me, you see a confident woman on the outside and then realize she's like most women with some serious self image issues. Yet she stands up for herself and Ronan gets her to spew the poison from her. While showing her how beautiful she truly is in the inside and outside. Ronan may come across as cocky at first, but he has a huge heart and he's determined. Determine to get with this beautiful woman who stirs things more than ever before.

These two had a beautiful story. One with laughter, a few tears, and happiness!

I absolutely loved this book., The characters are excellent and well developed and this storyline is on fire.

Ronan and Blakely are our hero and heroine and I am so glad that Blakely is a strong independent woman who is not a push over. Ronan is a tall dark handsome cowboy dealing with so much and having to deal with his family ranch in financial difficult.

This is a hot steamy read like no other and Sofia Tate did a fabulous job telling the story. This is the first book in the series and I can only imagine what is next to come. This is a page turner from the beginning and I could not put it down until it was finished. It can be read in a day and you won't be disappointed. Grab onto this one and set your kindle on fire.

I received an ARC for an honest review for the release and blog tour.

I absolutely adore Sofia Tate's style of writing!

I have to say that I am super excited for this series. Sofia Tate has a fresh voice and isn't afraid to have her characters tell it like it is--they're blunt but honest. I fell so in love with His For Now. Blakely, though from the city, certainly had a soft spot for Ronan once she let her walls down. She was tough on the exterior and I liked that about her. Ronan was about as good as they come and he did everything in his power to get Blakely to notice him, despite having so much going on his life personally.

The setting and flow for this story kept me glued to the pages. Blakely and Ronan couldn't be any more opposite yet there was chemistry between them. Such a cute story that had some emotional moments. I have to say, Sofia Tate, you've won me over as a reader. His For Now is exactly what I crave in a romantic story!!

Blakely is a successful businesswoman in NY who is in Blossom, Montana to act as the maid of honor at her best friends wedding. Due to her past she is focused on her career and has no interest in love or relationships so when a sexy rancher asks her out she declines.

Ronan is handling a series of problems which include trying to keep the ranch viable. From the moment he sees Blakely in the diner he is intrigued and even though she turns him down he plans to use the fact that she is staying at the ranch to get her to chance her mind.

These two are complete opposites but Ronan is determined to win the girl and the only thing standing in his way is convincing her. Sweet and sexy I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Review Copy of this book from the author.

I loved this book so hard! Be prepared and clear your schedule cause you will not be able to put this book down. A chance meeting on a dude ranch and sparks fly between Ronan and Blakely. Usually I am not down for city and country, but this book flowed so well. Blakely city girl at heart but in need for a change and Ronan is rancher to the core and wants nothing but to save the family ranch. Ronan has been burnt in the past, but I loved that he took a chance with Blakely. These two had a few bumps in the road, but they got there in the end. This is a must read! You will not want to miss out on this book.

Great Start to a New Series!

This book was fantastic! It was steamy and sweet! Blakely is a city girl that comes to a dude ranch in Blossom, Nevada to be in her friends wedding. Ronan’s parents own the ranch. They met each other in town and are immediately attracted to each other. They both have reservations about starting a relationship having been hurt in the past. They have things that have to be worked out. Will they be able to work them out?
His For Now is a well written, funny, fast paced, heart warming sexy read that o recommend to everyone!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

City meets country never mixed so well. A chance meeting on a dude ranch and sparks fly between Ronan and Blakely. Hang onto this one you will not be able to put it down. Blakely city girl at heart but in need for a change and has some self esteem issues from child hood. One she meets Ronan you can tell things are different. Ronan is rancher to the core and wants nothing but to save the family ranch. He ha been burned in the past but I love how he takes a leap with Blakely. They may start off fast and have a few bumps but it is so beautiful to read. A lovely book that I couldn't put down.

I really liked this opposites attract romance. Spark fly when good old country boy Ronan meets big city gal, Blakely. I thought the chemistry between these two was steamy but there was a LOT of back and forth in their relationship and I have to say het after a bit that became somewhat frustrating. Both these characters have big issues that must be dealt with and that adds plenty of drama to this romance. I am posting my own opinion in this voluntary review.

Blakely is a city girl visiting a dude ranch for her best friends wedding.. Ronan's family owns the ranch and he has pretty much lived there all his life and plans on staying there. When they meet sparks fly between them. Ronan is very clear he will never leave the ranch and Blakely is very clear this is just a fling as she is city girl and will be going back right after the wedding. When feelings start to develop will they be able to make a long distance relationship work or is he just his for now ?

My first read by this author and I loved it.. Can't wait for the rest of this series

Cute and hot!

Manhattanite Blakely is curvy and busy and is squeezing in as much work as possible while she is in Nevada for her bestie's wedding. Enter tall drink of water and rancher Ronan who goes into full pursuit mode once he realizes Blakely will be staying at his ranch for the week.

These two have a great meet-cute and their chemistry is sizzling hot. Very sexy read, and I always love a good HEA!

I think the best way to describe my reaction to the book, is to say that I liked it, but I did not love it.

I liked the setting: a small Nevada town, it was easy to visualize and become a part of.

I was not a fan of how quickly the book went. The whole book spans over a few months, but it is not a long book. Because of this, I felt like I wasn’t able to connect with the characters. Though I liked them, I did not love them.

Throughout the book, I was worried about the ending. Yet, I felt as though Tate did a good job and really brought the whole book together, when I did not know it would be possible. Allowing both of the characters to stay true to themselves.

This is a good, light read that can be read in one sitting, which is the way I would recommend it be read.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..When Ronan sees Blakely he is instantly intrigued, instantly attracted, but she won't give him the time of day. This however does not stop him from going after her, especially since she is the maid of honor in the wedding that he is also coming out in. Blakely is carrying emotional scars and she fears that Ronan would never really be interested in her, but he proves her wrong and as their romance starts heating up it time for her to go home and to make some decisions in her life, is this relationship real enough for her to change it.
