Cupcakes & Mistletoe: The Wedding was a short(ish) read which was super sweet. Calla & Wes are getting married, but only have months to plan it (totally understood everything since I had done that for my wedding so many years ago). It makes for a hilarious read because you already know that there will be some fun shenanigans while the planning takes place. The secondaries only add to the story, as there may or many not be some suspense/drama swirling about. I think my favorite part was how calm Calla was about everything (no bridezilla present), and when she needed help, Wes steps up. I'm not inclined to make this review too long since it's not full length, so don't want to give anything else away. I will say this, while I adored this story, I also want so much more. So, now this is the part of the program that I say that everyone should be hitting their one click button to experience this sweet, hilarious, and emotional story for themselves! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been so excited for this book. I just couldn't wait to finally see Calla and Wes tie the knot. I just love the 2 of them and to see how their friends love them and surround them was that much more special. And I think I fell even more in love with Wes in this book! ~Jen

"What could possibly go wrong planning a wedding in 5 months? For Calla and Wes assume everything. In this hilarious and sweet ,swoony story (gently set to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas) we are treated to every emotion under the sun but Calla and Wes were the epitome of calm regardless of outside stresses.

Share the love with a little bit of holiday cheer and a whole lot of heart. Crumpton is back to make us laugh, cry and celebrate with a few not too distant friends. Cupcakes and Mistletoe: The Wedding is the culmination of a feast of the heart. Calla and Wes are a reminder that good things come to those who wait and that's reason enough to make me smile. A short sweet treat.

Set, very delightfully, to the 12 Days of Christmas, this is a story of wedding planning that, really, has to go wrong when it can. Calla and Wes have five months to plan their wedding, and, if you think of what is required at each step, you get an idea of the kinds of scenes you’ll find in this book. It’s by times funny, emotional, and absurd, but it is best enjoyed if you are already familiar with the main characters from reading earlier books, and that is my only quibble.

I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

Planning a wedding can be stressful under the best of circumstances but trying to ensure the day is perfect in five months is a daunting task. With so many decisions and so little time Calla and Wes showed that when you work together with the one you love anything is possible and is a great precursor of what is required for a happy marriage.

This is a heartwarming story about love and family and it is great to catch up with the characters that we know and love.

Cupcakes & Mistletoe was a fun, sweet read. I enjoyed these characters in their previous story and was excited to get even more of them. This book was full of many ups and downs as Calla and Wes try to plan their wedding is such a short time. There were some serious moments as well as some laugh out loud ones that kept the book entertaining from start to finish.

A sweet book about a couple planning their wedding. A bit of suspense going on around one of the characters. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

I loved this book. It was the first of this series that I have read, but I did not feel lost. Wes and Calla were the perfect couple. They were there for each other when they were needed most. I felt bad for Calla, in the sense that her parents were there to see her get married and/or help plan the wedding. This book left a smile on my face, long after I was finished reading. I only wish that he would have surprised her with the one phrase he never said. A great, quick read.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

Want a sneak peak into what's coming in Cupcakes & Mistletoe: The Wedding? Here's a little treat for you...

Who the hell comes up with names like these?
“Are all of these here to audition for the wedding reception?” I ask Rex as he takes the seat next to me and passes the bottle of water over.
“Yep. And if any of them are truly any good, I may see if they want to play here once or twice a month. Teagan thinks having a rotation of bands coming in would help on our slower nights,” he tells me before twisting the cap off his water bottle and taking a drink.
“Glad my wedding planning is helping you out,” I retort in as much of a bland tone as I can, though I really want to give him shit.
“Two birds, one stone. It’s a win-win situation,” he notes, and I have to agree with him on that.
“Are we making notes on this sheet of paper?” I nudge it in his direction. “Or did you bring more paper with you?”
Rex pulls two pens from his back pocket and hands one over.
“We’re just using this page. I seriously doubt we’ll like that many of them. Hell, the names alone are pretty shitty,” he replies, and again, I can’t disagree with him.
Whatever they were on when thinking up these names had to be some really good shit. If I was younger––and a lot more stupid––I’d ask for a hit. Pushing my sleeves up, I notice the time on my watch.
Oh, this is going to be a long day.
“You ready to get started?” Rex asks, rubbing his hands together.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.”
“First on the list is The Hemorrhagic Flukes,” he announces, pointing to the first name on the list. “Hemorrhagic Flukes, you’re up!” he calls out, and the band moves to get in place.
