Surprise, Baby!

There’s a fine line between lust and hate.

I don’t care that Drew Merritt spent the last year transforming himself from grungy slob to sexy playboy. With messy, dirty blond hair and gorgeous eyes, his looks aren’t the problem.

His mouth is.

And the stupid things that come out of it.

But after an emergency strands us together, and he does his damnedest to take care of me…

Let’s just say there’s one thing we don’t clash on.

And it doesn’t involve talking.

I’ve despised Drew since I met him years ago. One weekend can’t change us that much, can it?

Spoiler alert: It doesn’t.

Except he left me a little keepsake.

And in nine months, I’ll have a surprise for Portland’s most notorious player.

The story was witty and so much fun, but also romantic, sweet and heart-warming!!! It was the complete package! This was my first read by either author and it is the first of many!!!

Kendall is a successful, independent business woman. She’s driven, focused and single! Drew is a reformed party animal. He’s gotten his life in order, well mostly, and become a better man from the one Kendall remembers.

Mutual friends are what bring them together for a weekend getaway in a cabin. However, a storm derails plans and leaves these two alone for the weekend! They will need to come to an understanding since now they are snowed in! What better way to pass the time then some mutual pleasure...it’s about to get HOT!!!

A weekend of indulgence leaves Kendall with the kind of memory that’s going to change everything!

Kendall and Drew had amazing chemistry! Off the charts sexiness...and then reality sets in and they have to figure out how to be more than just lovers.

These two are hysterical! The inner monologues will have you laughing out loud. I really loved this story. The ups and downs, figuring out their place in each other’s lives, their transition from enemies to lovers and then to so much more. A story about making your family that will warm your heart!

Job well done, standing ovation!

I devoured Drew and Kendall story like my favorite bag of salty flavored chips. I am a huge fan of enemies to lovers stories, and with an addiction of lots steamy scenes, funny situations and dialogues I closed Surprise, Baby with a wide smile on my face. Then started crying because I would love to read this story again with a clear mind.

Kendall is a successful, strong and independent businesswoman, work first then family plan. She has amazing friends and parents. But there is one person, who she can’t stand… and his name is Drew. For very good reasons.

We meet Drew as a recovering playboy. From his memories, we get to know his drink hard, bang harder lifestyle. But enough is enough and a life threating situation caused a strong change in his personality and behavior.

Kendall and Drew's mutual friends suggested a common weekend getaway in a cabin. Kendall just wanted to spend some time with best friend Evie and Drew redeem himself in Kendall's eyes. And fate so helped him, because they stuck together in a snowed house for a whole weekend.

I didn’t know Drew as a party animal (I have to) but I loved so much his new sweet, funny, naughty, grandma boy and hardworking side. First, very skeptic Kendall started to see Drew in a new light, as a friend and then lover. Their interaction during the weekend in a cabin was so funny to read and the chemistry sparkling between them made my cheeks burn. But what happened in a snowed cabin didn’t stay in here.

Drew and Kendall have to deal with the real world, little surprise and their feelings toward themselves. Can they be something more than lovers? Did Drew really change? Can I have a Tristan number?

Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam created a light amazing story. I laughed so hard, swooned like crazy and drank too much cold water. Surprise, Baby is a great story for one night. Of course, there were ups and downs because Kendall and Drew were thrown in at the deep end but I loved their mature behaviors. And this is a thing a love the most.

An arc kindly provided, in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much.

I’ve been so looking forward to Drew’s book! I absolutely loved it!
In Surprise, Baby, we see a whole different side to Drew. He seems to have transformed from the chauvinistic slob that he was in All About The D. He’s fit, polite —though still dirty-minded— and looking more put together. Quite the change, but what had he been up to?
Kendall is a business owner. No time for relationships or vacations. No time to let herself relax. She rarely has time to see her best friend Evie. So when the opportunity arises to spend several days away with her friend and husband she jumps on it. Only she has to ride there with Drew. The object of her loathing.
I loved this book and all the things it offers us! It is emotional and has so much character growth... I love “watching” characters grow! I love the bickering and banter, the push and pull... The chemistry is so hot, too!
I highly recommend this book. It can be read as a stand-alone or after All About The D, which is hilarious and also a must-read!

Brilliant, Brilliant, BRILLIANT! Surprise, Baby! is a book that is fun, flirty, dirty, and so, so loveable.
I love to highlight special passages, funny sayings, or memorable moments while I'm reading...I just about highlighted this entire book. I was either in stiches laughing or sighing at all of the loveable/laughable breakout moments. Lex and Leslie are a phenomenal writing duo and I seriously cannot say enough great things about how much I enjoyed reading Surprise, Baby!

Kendall Greer works in public relations and knows all about fixing messes and covering up mistakes. Hence, why Drew Merritt, one of Portland's most eligible bachelors, is one of her biggest achilles heels. He hasn't always been responsible, he's actually been the complete opposite of responsible and a publist's nightmare. Unfortunately, Drew hasn't always been on his best behaviour around Kendall, actually he's typically been at his worst when she's been around, but you know there's a fine line between lust and hate.
"Since I've known Kendall, she's yelled at me, lectured me, ignored me, talked over my head, talked down to me, and made sure that there was no chance in hell I'd ever be able to touch her. Kendall's like a gorgeous IRS auditor - she's out to prove me wrong, but the words that come out of her mouth make me hard."-Drew

There is no denying, the attraction they feel towards each other, so when they find themselves stranded, locked away in a mountain cabin, they don't try to fight what is lying beneath all the layers of bad decisions and bad history.
"Drew 2.0 is...sweet. And dare I say thoughtful? I like this new side to him. More than I care to admit." Kendall

As Drew and Kendall try to navigate their hot mess of a non-relationship, oops...surprise! Things get complicated.

The jump scare I got when I was looking through my Audible backlist and saw this pop up.

wtf

I purchased this. With money I earned. WHY? I wracked my brain but came up with nothing. Even being drunk wouldn't have lead me this far astray.

So, I start listening to it to find out what my past self could possibly have been thinking.
And THANK THE LORD! A few chapters in you find out the main male character has Type 1 Diabetes. Apparently, I had Googled books with T1D representation and that one was an Audible exclusive. And I...bought it? Like, I get that there's T1D rep but damn, am I THAT desperate? Apparently so.

I did read the entire thing and obviously it's terrible.

But, yeah, I sat through this whole book and had the cringiest time of my life. But I had to let you know because WHAT WAS I THINKING???????

Surprise Baby had it all, strong independent female and a recovering playboy trying to prove his self-worth.  It was funny and heart-warming and hot enough to warm a Portland winter night! I was “surprised” with how much I loved Drew, the rich entitled main character that had the worst luck when it came to a certain redhead he was in love with.  With snarky banter, steamy winter sex scenes and an adorable pussy cat named Shazam there is only one way to rate this book and it’s with 5-stars.  I loved Surprise Baby!

Drew Merritt and Kendall Greer have hated each other ever since their best friends got married.  With every encounter the insults are thrown, and the turmoil grows.  Now Drew and Kendall are forced by circumstances beyond their control to spend several days alone together.  They have the choice to stay enemies or call a truce, but if they don’t hate each other anymore then does that mean they are friends?  And when that friendship leaves Kendall with a souvenir she now must wait and see if Drew is ready for a bigger surprise than just their new friendship.

I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Lex Martin or Leslie McAdam. Their first collaboration, All About the D, was awesome, but I loved this book even more! Surprise, Baby was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was funny, sweet, addictive and a little emotional. I read until my eyes fell shut and that was already way past my bed time, but I didn’t care at all. The epilogue was the perfect and beautiful conclusion to Drew and Kendall’s love story. I loved Surprise, Baby so much!

I absolutely fell in love with Drew and Kendall. Drew has my heart. He was a player and always loved a good party, but Drew has changed a lot. He’s driven, rich, funny, caring, possessive and protective. Drew has always had a thing for Kendall and he was over the moon when something finally happened between them. He wants a chance with Kendall and he doesn’t give up easily.

Kendall is a fantastic woman! She’s driven, funny, loving, ambitious and caring. Kendall always dreamed of having her own business and she has one now. She works very hard to make it successful. Kendall never liked Drew, but one car ride and being snowed in can change a lot apparently. She really likes this new Drew. I adored Kendall and Drew together.

The secondary characters made this book complete. Drew’s grandmother is funny and sweet. I’m glad Drew has her in his life. I just adored their bond. Josh and Evie, from All About the D, appear sometimes and I loved that. They are just like I remembered them. They are amazing friends to Drew and Kendall. There are definitely some characters introduced in Surprise, Baby that I hope will have their own story one day.

Surprise, Baby is the story of Drew and Kendall, who you might remember if you've read All About the D. Though this book can be read as a complete standalone, if you do already know these characters then you know how well they get along. Aka, they don't. There was some serious chemistry hidden under all of that animosity and in this book we got to see just what happens when Drew and Kendall turn their hate into something much more fun.

Drew was the surprise in this story for me. I really thought we would see more of his douchey side but instead from the very beginning it was evident that he wasn't the spoiled playboy Kendall thought him to be. And I loved that about him. He was actually super sweet and gave me all the happy feelings. Seeing how he doted on Kendall when he wanted was brilliant, it brought out the romance in the story and made it a fun read.

He and Kendall together fit perfectly. His laid back vibe with her more serious one is the kind of combination I love seeing in my book couples. What's more, they had some very intriguing and witty banter between them. Their characters had a flow about them that made this an easy and enjoyable read. Definitely a book I recommend reading.

Slick...slapstick...snazzy. such is the mood and narration of this latest from L & L. Two of my fave authors. It's full of witty banter, Insta attraction and swoonworthy moments. I was laughing most of the time
Kendall Greer and Drew 'Demerit" Demeritt are like Vaseline and sandpaper. They grate on each other's nerves....at least that's why they project. But insides they seem to melt whenever they're near each other. She's responsible and he's a playboy
description
I have no idea why Evie insists Kendall was so much fun growing up. That Debbie Downer’s got a stick so high up her ass, it’s lodged in her brain. She’s constantly telling me to fuck off or arguing for the sake of arguing. If I say her dress is white, she’ll say it’s cream.
Eye roll.

Needless to say the feeling is mutual. She thinks he's frivolous and manchildish
One fateful day while driving together to a mountain cabin, they get stranded in a storm and ......

I enjoyed reading the story, some hilarious lines and their chemistry just blew me away

When the first chapter (or two) of the book is focused on the heroine waking up after a not so good one night stand with a random man and then gets caught sneaking out by the hero who has the panties from 3 different girls in his pocket, how can you like the book? That was a very bad start for me and for a while I kept wondering if the Lawrence, aka the random guy, could be the baby daddy. I didn't buy the way Drew got her pregnant, so I would do a paternity test, just in case.

Despite all that, I kept reading and I actually finished the book. What led me to one star was the lack of communication between Kendall and Drew on anything important. I do believe that more pages were dedicated to showing that Drew was a partying manwhore and less on how Kendall and Drew would work things out. There was a time jump of 5.5 months and we found the characters been in a more uncertain position than the one we left them before the time jump. A few spoilers will follow because I need to express myself.

Kendall finds out that she is pregnant after half of the book has passed, which was too slow for me. After a while, we got the time jump and Kendall is 35 weeks pregnant. She and Drew are in a very bad place and it was like they had barely spoken. Kendall was always pushing Drew away. She kept rejecting him away up until the end and I didn't get the feeling that she made any effort to have a relationship with Drew. Her actions towards him where the kind you do when you want to someone away and she never spoke about her feelings to him. Drew's feelings for her were believable and I knew that he truly wanted to have a family with her and make an effort to work things out. Her rejection was the reason he didn't make a move sooner and it bothered me.

YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!! After reading All About The D, I COULD NOT WAIT for Drew! In AATD I hated Drew, mostly because he was a stupid drunk bastard of a friend. When starting a new book though, you gotta keep an open mind. Man, am I glad I did! Now I can't decided if I like Josh or Drew better!!!! Well, I mean, they are totally different, so I guess I can love them equally right?

I really had hoped that something would come of Kendall and Drew, I even secretly wished we would witness her kicking him in the balls. Sorry, not sorry! LOLOL. From the moment of their first encounter in this book, I new it was gonna be a good one. Lex and Leslie were FOR SURE going to take us for an interesting ride. I was really excited to see that Kendall was just as quirky as drew. In fact she was WAY funnier than I had ever imagined. She seemed pretty serious, and we only got glimpses of her here and there in AATD. This teaches you good, don't judge a book by it's cover! Drew and Kendall were both anything but what might have been expected!!

Banter, oh em gee the banter!! Between Kendall and Drew, but also between these two and everything they came across, the banter was FANTASTIC! There was a moment With Kendall and Evie that I DIED LAUGHING. I immediately posted on Facebook that Lex and Leslie had broken me. That's how much I was in hysterics! Some of these one-liners were just too good for words! Then from banter we get to sexy times, and holy crap were there some sexy times. I loved how these two got together, it was perfectly genius. The love-to-hate was just so perfect. I especially loved how Drew and Kendall surprised each other.

Now let's talk about the changes, because holy crap did Drew change!! Learning how much Drew had changed, and then also hearing all of the crap he shit on everyone before his little overhaul, MIND-BLOWING. I feel like I was just as mind-blown as Kendall. I mean he practically became a Saint LOL. The steps toward maturity that he took were pretty amazing. Speaking of amazing, I CAN'T LEAVE OUT BEE!!! She is the most precious and HYSTERICAL character in this book. I loved seeing Drew with his grandma, it was so damn adorable! There were many of those moments, adorable. From seeing him with bee to seeing him with a pregnant Kendall, these ovaries were weeping!

I am always really big on supporting characters and I really don't think this book would be the same without them. Just how Drew and Kendall were in AATD, Josh and Evie were great. I also loved the addition of Tristan. He was the perfect secondary character, because he added an entire new layer to this book. Between him, his interactions with Kendall, his interactions with Drew, they were all fantastic. In fact, I really hope he gets his own story, because he totally deserves one!

If you've made it through my babble until now, you totally deserve an award. But Lex and Leslie really deserve an award! This book had the perfect amount of everything that a RomCom needs. It was ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL, but also had enough other emotions to make it more than just a funny book. It was pretty damn perfect ladies!

I am a huge fan of Lex Martin, especially her Dearest series. I have never read one of her co-written books, but this one sounded too cute to pass up!

Kendall hates Drew Merritt with every fiber of her being. Seeing as he's her best friend's husband's best friend, though, there's no ignoring him. Disgusted by his constant partying and rude behavior, Kendall would be happy to never see him again. But they're forced to spend time together when their mutual best friends invite them to a Thanksgiving getaway in the mountains. When the snowstorm is heavier than expected, Kendall and Drew are snowed in and Kendall learns that Drew has changed and may not be the immature playboy she always thought he was.

Based on the title, I knew going in that this was going to have a surprise pregnancy trope. I normally hate books that spring that up in a book, but I think knowing about it going in, I wasn't as annoyed. I will say, we still did have to wait until half of the book before Kendall learned she was pregnant, which I wasn't a huge fan of. I was just waiting and waiting for it to happen and felt like half the book was too long to wait to have something happen that you were told about in both the synopsis and the title of the book.

That little pet peeve aside, though, this book was so stinking cute and I found myself smiling more than once over Drew's character. Yeah, Drew had a pretty rocky past, but he changed and he was so darn cute with how much he cared for Kendall and really wanted to take care of her. Of course, Kendall was hesitant to trust him after all he'd done in their past, but he really was a changed man and I loved how earnest he was and how determined he was to show Kendall that he wasn't messing around and that he really wanted to work things out with her.

If you want a super cute romance between two people who used to hate each other, I definitely think you'll enjoy Surprise, Baby! Kendall is a strong professional woman with her own company and Drew is a reformed playboy who is ready to finally land the woman of his dreams. They seem like an unlikely pair, but you won't be able to help but swoon as they fall in love!

“I would do anything for you.”

Surprise, Baby is a sweet, funny and sexy enemies to lovers’ romantic comedy. It feels fresh, original and the banter is hilarious. What’s so refreshing is that the hero, Drew Merritt is a ‘normal’ guy and not a typical alpha bad arse who has all those ‘cruel’ tendencies and controlling ways. Rather he’s just a guy who’s had crap happen to him and has fallen in love with a woman who makes him feel somewhat vulnerable and unsure of himself. Rather than turn us off it made us connect and fall in love. He’s an absolute diamond but a silly one. He is fun, outrageously nutty but where and when it counts, he is all man! A man who has been given a second chance at life after a shock to his partying ways, who has fallen in love and wears his heart on his sleeve.

“And I may not always be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I promise I’ll be loyal.”

Kendall Greer is a work-a-holic, set in her ways with a deep ‘love-hate’ relationship with Drew. She’s not got time for childish behaviour nor party boys. She errs on the side of caution and has a serious demeanour. So, the complete opposite of our funny man, Drew really. The opposite attract mantra is never greater than in this story, however, one personality evens out and compliments the other and the perfect match is made!

“Drew, if that is you about to cop a feel, I’m going to punch you in the throat.”

Drew and Kendall’s love story begins in the snow, stuck in a freezing cabin where there’s not a lot to do other than perhaps act on a super-hot attraction…..The ensuing hilarities and life-changing consequences had us laughing and swooning in equal measures.

“Jesus. I fucking love you and our butt babies. “Can I make little onesies that say Butt Baby? I bet I could sell a million of those.”

Intense chemistry and filthy flirtation was the menu of the day in this wonderful romantic comedy which had a healthy dose of emotional moments too, as well as a lovable hero and an admirable no-nonsense heroine. We definitely recommend this one for the romantics out there who love to laugh.

“Do I need to grab a condom?” he mutters against my mouth.

“Your swimmers already got to the motherland and erected a flag, so that seems redundant. I mean, I can’t get more pregnant.”

Surprise, Baby was an incredibly sweet read. I smiled. I laughed. I swooned. My heart was full of warmth and joy. This book was also incredibly hot.

Kendall and Drew argue continuously. They are always riling each other up but their best friends are together which makes them friends by association. The term friends is being used loosely. Drew this Kendall is uptight. Incredibly sexy but still uptight. Kendall thinks Drew is a complete manwhore who loves to party and has no sense of righteousness or has good morals. She is right, was right because there’s much more to Drew than she realizes. He is not the man she thought he was and she discovers all of that when she is forced to spend a few days with him, stranded and alone. They get really acquainted with each other. (Wink wink)

Weeks later, Kendall realizes she has a bun in the oven. She is not prepared for this and Drew is even less prepared but they navigate their new reality together.

Drew was always so sweet and charming. His relationship with Kendall was gushingly cute. There happen to be a lot of misunderstandings between them but Drew always manages to solve it. This book is definitely worth reading.

I really don't know where to start other than to say I freaking loved it so hard. Not that that is at all surprising since it was written by Lex Martin and is a spin off from All About The D. But since I went in with such high expectations there is always the worry something won't click. But nope expectations exploded and it was all that I could have hoped for.

Kendall previously came across as a bit of an ice queen but she thawed out and we saw the real side of her. And to be fair Drew did seem like such a selfish slacker who was only interested in the easy and the high he was chasing in the previous book so it was easy to see why she wasn't very warm to him.

Luckily for us Drew has had a come to Jesus moment and has started to get his life on track when he finds himself in the prolonged company of Kendall.

And even though I went in knowing there was a whoops baby the whole thing was so well written I couldn't put it down from the moment I picked it up. There was the perfect amount of angst and drama to keep me on my toes but not enough to cause me any major worries about where it was all going.

So yeah the whole thing was awesome it almost feels like it was written just for me. Love this writing duo and can't wait to see what they might come up with in the future.

Surprise, Baby! by Lex Martin & Leslie McAdam is the story of Drew and Kendall.
Drew and Kendall are oil and water...never mixing well together. When their friends set up a group vacation of sorts it ends up being just them after a storm. They were able to find something to do while waiting to get home but that is leaving Kendall with nine months to learn what their life is changing too. This was a funny, hot read! Loved it!

***5 ‘Mischief Managed’ Stars***

When I saw that this duo was doing another book together that was connected to All About the D, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was all in. Didn’t need to read the description. Nothing. ALL. IN. And then I read the description and it took me a minute to remember just WHO Drew was and I’ll admit, I groaned a little and rolled my eyes because that man drove me Batshit Crazy, but I was still all in. And all I can say is I LOVED this book. BOTH Drew and Kendall still drove me crazy, but the sweet, swoony, eye rolling moments were SOO worth it and the smexy was HAWT, and don’t even get me started on the ovary exploding ones *Dopey sigh* ! I devoured this book and wanted more even when there were no more words to read.

So, Drew. I wanted to gut him with a spoon when I first met him in All About the D. I did. But this Drew? Drew 2.0 was still aggravating at times with his edit button being unrepairable and all, but the man really us a sweetheart. He’s perfectly, imperfect with a golden and genuine heart. Kendall is a force to be reckoned with. Hard working, intelligent and sassy. She has no problem standing her ground and telling it like it is. But her heart has been bruised and it contributes, at times, the sharp edges that surround her.

No lie. These two drove me batshitcrazy, but watching as they got to know each other and truly SEE each other was so worth it. I loved their bantering, snipping and how, once they let their walls down just a little, that they actually complemented the other in the best of ways. Their road was definitely not an easy one, the whole pregnancy thing was definitely a twist neither saw coming, but the big ‘ole wrench that does get thrown into the mix couldn’t have happened at the most inopportune time. Thankfully, the grovelling was all kinds of swoon worthy and I loved how everything worked out for them.

This was such a fun read, I had a difficult time putting it down. The writing was engaging and seamless and I loved the dual first person POV’s. As for the supporting cast of characters. I loved catching up with Josh and Evie and finding out what they’ve been up to, Kendall’s parents were awesome, but Bee is definitely the favorite.

So, if you love a good enemies to lovers romance, with an “Oops, I’m pregnant” situation tossed into the mix, then this is a definite must read for you!

5 laugh out loud stars!!

Absolutely love Kendall and Drew! I laughed and even teared up a little, could not wipe the smile off my face!

Drew has such a warped sense of humor and omg I love it! As much as he had me smiling and totally swooning, I wanted to smack him right upside his head!

Kendall is strong, independent and sassy and has no time to waste on relationships. Her attraction to Drew is there, but is he worth the possible heartbreak?

These two were made for each other! And I rooted for them right from the start! Loved this book so damn hard!

Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam are the perfect team, a team not to be messed with! Their words will have you glued to your kindle and a smile on your face!

There’s a fine line between lust and hate.

When you end up getting knocked up by the guy you have been hating for years and who is famous for being a playboy and never taking anything serious you are allowed to be a little scared/confused.

Kendall is this serious businesswoman who doesn't do anything other than work. She is building up her pr firm and is trying to getting everything up and running. She doesn't have time for fun but when the only time she has time to see her best friend is on thanksgiving she caves and accept the invitation to Thanksgiving even if Drew the guy she hates is coming too.

Drew is a transformed person now he is Drew 2.0 but not many know that he gave up alcohol, drugs, and women. That he has diabetes and lives only on healthy food and exercise. He has had a crush on Kendall since the first time he met her but she was too serious for him and he was too much a fuck up at the time. But what better time than Thanksgiving to show her he is a changed man?

This book was okay, I think I needed a little more humor in it for it to be a rom-com for me. But it is a fun light book that doesn't make you explode with feelings, though at one point I felt with Kendall so much I was feeling like crying in frustration with her! It is the perfect book to read when you need a book that will make you feel good and just sit back and relax with a glass of wine.

WARNING BABY ON BOARD!!!

I am an absolute sucker for a novel that involves pregnancy! I love witnessing the crazy rollercoaster ride of emotions the woman goes through, especially given the situation in the particular novel. I honestly couldn't get enough of Drew and Kendall's story.

About Surprise, Baby!

Sometimes all it takes is a tragedy for a person to realize the life they were given is being lived wrong. Drew Merritt had that once in a lifetime change of life's perspective when he woke up from a three day diabetic coma. He woke up a changed man. Now all he has to do is prove to the world and to Kendall Greer how much he has changed his ways.

My Thoughts:

Omg, this novel was as cute as it was sassy! I loved Drew and the fact that he stood right by Kendall's side when times became tough. They rode through this rollercoaster side my side. I loved the emotion portrayed by both characters throughout all the ups and the downs that came along. The emotion was believable and left me wanting and needing more.

I really enjoyed the beginning and the enemies to lovers vibe this story also through off. I loved how Drew slammed down every notion Kendall brough to him. This reformed bad boy is as smooth as a sailor's sea legs. Gah, this sweet talking man has earned his place on my bookshelf.

I imagined this novel going a different way, and if it would have went the way I assumed it would go, that would have been bad and I would be staring at a blank page for a review I have to write about a book I DNF'd......A huge THANK YOU goes out the Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam for not being predictable and cliche AF and giving me a story that is unlike the millions of baby daddy romances out there.

Overall, if you're looking for a cute and sassy romance, with loads of banter, a little angst, and a hero that's a true-blue sexy sweetheart, I highly recommend picking this one up. It was such a fun read. Never a dull moment.
